I do love expensive German things. But Vermont is a bit far from me.
And those can't be very recent pictures. I refuse to believe there's snow on the ground in July, even if it is Burlington.

A 300D with a 2.5?? I thought this was the time when Merc had this interesting policy of actually sticking on badges which showed the true size. Unless you bought a 190D2.5 obviously. Or a 190E1.8. Or a 300SL6.3. Or a 450SEL6.9.

lol yup, that was one of the misnamed ones. 91-94 or 5 I think they had the 2.5D in the 300. But you could get a 260E gasser with the 2.6
